Window Agent Teller (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILJuly 30, 2019
It's okay it could be a lot better with a proper management training facility instead of Rush training their employers... And if the hours are warm or set like the location was more set instead of swing shift and multiple floating locations

Great Job While in School
Teller/Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Hanover, MDOctober 3, 2018
It was very flexible while I was in school. They had good top management who were very supportive and helpful. My branch did go through a lot of branch managers but overall it was stable. Hardest point was you have to be detailed oriented when it came to counting the money, etc. I like the flexibility and autonomy.

A great part-time job for college students. Very repetitive and slow work environment at times. You work alone for a majority of your shifts. Very flexible schedule.

Ideal place for college students. Although it is retail, the hours are manageable and they are extremely flexible. It is a lot of information to learn but they teach you very well.

Teller (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJanuary 6, 2018
The managers are pretty flexible on hours since a lot of the employees went to college. Higher ups treat employees with respect and make the work place and easy one to be in. You get to meet a lot of people from all over the world, pretty fun job I would recommend to try out.
Pros
Flexible hours, travel reimbursements, great culture

Good Company Overall
Teller/Assistant Marketing Manager (Current Employee) –  Orange County, CADecember 20, 2017
Shifts are relatively simple. Handling cash transactions, answering customer questions, occasional lengthy conversations with investors and conspiracy theorists who like to discuss bitcoin and all other financial discussions. One downside is that most of the phone systems being utilized are sub-par in quality, so it becomes very difficult to hear a customer over the phone, especially having worked in 2 separate branches, and both be a witness to large crowds of people and the massive space, envelopes your ability to hear the customer. Every manager has their own particular system, so although the procedure is standard across each branch, the taking of inventory, shipments, and all other technical aspects of each branch is different.

Working alone in this position really tests your abilities to deal with customers, understanding and taking on the responsibility of the inventory, and the branch itself. It is not a difficult job, but I feel as though the working alone aspect is both positive and negative. You tend to feel a bit lonesome in the branch and typically have to be preoccupied with something. which is hard to do sometimes when you have no customers or nothing to manage in terms of the branch.
Pros
Generous Pay, Benefits, Relax Work Environment, Low-Supervision
Cons
Low Supervision sometimes bad, Not a relatively easy job for someone who needs to be social.

Annoying management
Teller (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAMay 28, 2017
Honestly, the job is fine and you have a lot of autonomy after you learn the job basics. However, if you do make a mistake (big or small) management really gets on your case. I had a very picky branch manager which made going to work awful. Upper management and the regional managers are much more understanding and easy to work with.

Teller (Current Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 8, 2017
Work environment is very laid back. I learned a great deal about retail currency exchange. Management is great. There are times when it gets busy and times when its slow, which is great for a college student.
