PC Technician (Current Employee) –  Washington, DCOctober 23, 2017
For the contract I was on, most days were sitting around waiting for equipment to arrive so that it could be deployed. An average of one week out of a month there is some IT emergency which takes up entire days of work and delays any other projects

MATERIAL HANDLER (Former Employee) –  Elkridge, MDOctober 5, 2017
Good company to work for. Cybercore keeps the employee morale up with lunches, and trips to the ball park. I learned to work with a team and team building. The job was some what physical and required a lot of manual labor at the time. Good company to work for, when you're ready for a change they will find you a new location.
Pros
Lunches and Boat Rides at the time of my employment
Cons
PPO instead of Vacation and Sick leave.

Just another iT guy (Former Employee) –  Elkridge, MDJuly 14, 2017
Teaches you skills that can advance you to your next step. Great place to learn the ins and outs of a contracting company. Company had its up and downs since i was there but with new leadership in place, it looks to make a great stride forward
Pros
Good advancement to a point
Cons
after a certain point, it seems the company tends to look outside the organization

IT Manager (Current Employee) –  Elkridge, MDApril 10, 2017
A great place to work for. Opportunities are there, but it is very competitive. I enjoyed my time at CyberCore as I grew from Logistics PC Technician to IT Manager.

Although the atmosphere can be competitive, it still holds on to a family type business. As impossible as that may sound, it worked.

Only good things to say about the company.

Desktop Support Technician (Current Employee) –  Baltimore, MDNovember 2, 2015
Working with co-workers at Cybercore technologies have made me feel accepted within this organization and next to home. There's such a high degree of comradery amongst employees which have made our working environment pleasant and exciting.

Management would periodically organize events were employees are giving the opportunities to vent out their frustrations, have fun and make recommendations to improve their productivity ensuring our customers are professionally served.
Pros
Free tickets to baseball games among others
Cons
Expensive healthcare

Best Contracting Company One Can Work For
Help Desk - IT Technician (Current Employee) –  Baltimore, MDMay 15, 2014
Cybercore Technologies is a permanent contractor. Meaning you are a permanent employee of Cybercore but you will be contracted out to another company. In my case it was University of Maryland Medical Systems. The pay is great, even though there are no bonuses or raises. They do promise within 18 months you can get your security clearance pending a polygraph. They do offer benefits, though they are not very good, but that is more than some companies offer. This is a great opportunity.
Pros
Benefits, time off, security clearance
Cons
No wage increases, no bonuses

Systems/Network Technician/ Cable Specialist (Current Employee) –  Elkridge, MD 21075January 17, 2014
Most projects are not completed in a single day. Typical projects are weeks long but days go by very productive and fast. While at Cybercore Technologies, you will learn shipping & receiving procedures as well as Information Technology protocols. Management can lack at times due to inexperience, but it's a work in progress. Co-workers are what makes the days worthwhile. Like any business setting, Co-workers can make or break your day. Here at Cybercore, most of my days are made. The hardest part of the day is making sure everything is accounted for and counted properly. There are a lot of moving parts in the IT field as well as shipping and receiving, so you have to keep up on your work or you will fall behind quickly. The most enjoyable part of the job are once build projects are completed and on to the next one. Job security.
