Lead Support Assistant in Records Management (Former Employee) – Biloxi, MS – May 21, 2018
A typical day a work would be learning and engaging new ideas, policies, procedures and experiences within the agency. The workplace culture was fun yet very professional and encouraging. The environment propelled me to go to another level of success with my career. Upper management was skilled, supportive, and transparent towards their employee's success. They had an excellent rewards and recognition program.
Excellent ways to excel along with excellent pay and benefits for family
DIRECTOR OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES (Current Employee) – White Plains, NY – March 18, 2016
Working for this company has given me the tools to further develop my knowledge for 3D printing and design. A bonus is that I can educate kids and adults about this awesome technology. Working with 3D printers everyday and troubleshooting them has been an amazing experience and I would like to further that.
The atmosphere is up lifting. Young and creative staff who collaborate with each other to help grow with our skills.
The hardest part of the job is constantly teaching a variety of ages and constantly expanding your curriculum.
Management is difficult especially running a start up. I would love a more concrete system.
Freelance Designer (Current Employee) – San Francisco – May 12, 2015
The management here has a rule of thumb: Lowest cost first. There is no culture, or a really bad one in this company even though it's been around for 20 years. They are only focus on Asian market, and they are unwilling to change their extremely dated flash website. People here like to talk about innovations but their taste are still in the late 90s. They do not want to spend more than what's minimum. Often time leave you in ambiguous position and tell you to finish the job in one day, and then keep asking you to revise on what's avoidable if they have give you the details in advance. The upper management are arrogant and unfriendly as they think they are much above you. Avoid this place unless you have no other choice.
Freelance Copywriter (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – July 16, 2014
Management loves to micromanage. ECD never takes responsibility for failures and pushes people under the bus. Gossip and fear run rampant through the office. Everyone leaves promptly at 5 or 6 though, so you can enjoy the remainder of the day.
Fast pace environment with geniune concern for betterment of others
