Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTFebruary 18, 2019
I loved working for this company. I hated what they paid me. I would go back and work for my previous department there in a heartbeat. They were very supportive.

advancement based on who you know not what you know or what you do
MHE Technician (Current Employee) –  Kansas City, KSFebruary 9, 2019
Can literally run around like a chicken with your head cut off while everyone else stands around. managers are a joke, they have no concept of how to manage. If they cannot answer a question in a manner that is pleasing, they wont answer it. raises are based entirely on how well liked you are. there is a testing policy but some people can take any test they want, whenever they want the rest are told its a 90 day wait between tests, you cant take this test unless you are already working at this level. then the 90 day wait turns into a year....

its a job

Great place to work
Project/Install Manager/Operation Manager (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZDecember 16, 2018
Typical day is 6:00 AM meeting with the teams/subcontractors to go over the days schedules. Go over issues at hand, meet with cutomers, 1-3 meeting per day on average. Deal with issues at hand . Walk the FAB work areas. End of day reporting. Most enjoyable part of job is seeing a multi multi millon dollar project completed.

Oh the horror that lies within!!!
Variuos (Current Employee) –  Reynoldsburg, OHDecember 3, 2018
It’s hard to describe how they operate but I’ll give it my best shot. Mangers that have no clue and don’t want a clue they promote based on their personal opinion of someone not their skills abilities or talents. Half of the company is involved in “personal relationships” with their superiors. (Makes it hard to be a boss when your sleeping with your subordinate) it’s like high school everyday. Poor communication, lack of leadership on every level, no direction or common sense. Raises are annual but completely pitiful getting a $.09 is an insult!!! You will work way too much overtime and the fact that you have a family or life outside of work is an absolute after thought. When you begin to get some years in and begin to climb the payroll ladder they will look for a reason to fire you skills and experience have no value to these people. If you take a job here you will more than likely regret it most do and move on quickly do yourself a favor there are much better places to work !!!
Pros
Lots of OT
Cons
Lots of OT !!! Poor management !! -0- organization!!

Not a fun place working nights
FSE (Former Employee) –  AZApril 27, 2018
Working 3-4 nights compress work week was very stressful job. Being onsite basically customer pays for your salary through service contract and you'll driven. The stressful part of it onsite FSE with 15 minutes response time to tool issue can be very demanding.
Cons
Compress work week night very stressful

Worst management ive ever worked for
Tech (Current Employee) –  Charlotte, NCMarch 14, 2018
come here if you wanna get lied to if your not a good old boy you wont get anywhere if your manager bends his fingers back you know a lie is coming. If you drink beer and chew Copenhagen long cut you have a 25% more of a chance to get a raise or move up in the company straight rocket ride to management position. If you wanna work every holiday and never see your family this is the job for you. If you wanna wait a year and a half to get you 6 months raise this is the place to be. This job is like stepping on a vibrator everytime you turn the corner you get screwed,
Pros

Simple CAD work with very little design
Mechanical Engineer I (Former Employee) –  Reynoldsburg, OHFebruary 24, 2018
CAD work 90% of the time. Most of the time spent altering a single piece on 10-20 drawings. Most work redrawing/reformatting a drawing done in Japanese or at another company. Difficult to communicate because of language barrier.
Pros
Experience automotive plants, relaxed hours
Cons
Holidays, low pay, not challenging, communication

Administrator (Current Employee) –  Reno, NVJanuary 18, 2018
Daifuku (ELS) is a very good place to work, if your a hard worker and can work together as a team, there is always an opportunity to advance. The company has improved our benefit package for 2018. Management is very interested in helping further our careers. Overall, I would highly recommend working for ELS.

Plenty of Opportunity to learn and grow
Office Associate (Current Employee) –  Reynoldsburg, OHAugust 18, 2017
Daifuku much like any company has its ups and downs. My overall experience is good, the opportunity to grow and advance in your career is definitely available.

They offer competitive pay, multiple shifts, and the benefits are FAR above average. With any large and growing company you are going to have difficult transitions, working with great people really is important and you will not find a better group of people anywhere!
Pros
Great people, growing company
Cons
Can be stressful

Worst place to work for
FSE (Former Employee) –  OregonJune 12, 2017
Daifuku America has reputation of employees leaving. The hourly rate way too low you'll be providing onsite support on a 3-4 compress work week which not worth of your time. Unlike many other OEM's more competitive in terms of salaries and benefits. They also have direct competitor in the same fabs employees working day/night shift leaving the company for better opportunity.
Pros
May be entry level.
Cons
Not a good company to work for.

Used to be amazing (now not so much)
Anonymous (Current Employee) –  Reynoldsburg, OHJanuary 18, 2017
5-6 years ago this was a great place, lots of benifits , even small things that made you feel appreciated with kinda a family feel. Workload was manageable but goals were obtainable. Now it is mission impossible all the time. The small things are gone. Human Resources is the worst of all. They have lost site of their most valuable asset. PEOPLE!!! You will work everyday all the time and for a pay rate that isn't equal to your skills and talent.
Pros
Decent benifits, stable employment
Cons
Very low pay, extreme levels of pressure and overtime!!!
