Very large company, involved in multiple food product lines and has good reputation in the dairy industry. Extensive ability to move up withing the company if one is a good employee
your job and life balance at dairy farmers of America is very poor. They pay decent but not as good for mostly living in the facility. Basically if you don't have a family it's a good place to work
The worst management I have ever worked under in my career. When I began there was an obvious revolving door of hourly employees but at the end of my tenure the salaried employees also began to flee the place. No ideas presented by management was well thought out or properly planned and majority of recommendations to fix any plans would fall on the deaf ears of management. Nobody is held accountable and management gives zero support to the salaried leadership team. The turn over rate is extremely high for hourly workers and it seems like the company enrolled in a prison work program with all of the new workers coming in on parole. Take this job as a last resort but you better keep looking as you will learn first hand why the morale is so low at this place.
The employees there are great. Management is good to an extent. It's a job. It pays well, but the hours can be very long. Some jobs keep you constantly busy and others are a bit slower paced.
I worked for 5 months very good company the team and my collegs very nice people, they are ready to help you and they are with you for every challenge you hawe !
