Work & Life Balance

Baggage Supervisor in Sterling, VA
on December 15, 2018
baggage operation
Working at the airlines for me was exciting, the airlines impacted my opportunity for me to meet so many people from so many different walks of life. Various cultures working together and building a bond to accomplish baggage delivery with out a high turn over of lost luggage. Together we ensure fights went out on time with the customers baggage following their flight itinerary. This was a fast pace and safety sensitive operation..
Cabin Agent in Hebron, KY

Worst management
Rules changes and crazy people in management made working here unnecessarily unbearable. Turning air conditioned vans off in the summer time or winter time is cruel to employees running up and down ramps to half clean these dang planes.
Security Screener in San Francisco, CA

Delta Security Screener
The people were great working there. It was slow at times in the morning. Which you can easily fall asleep. When Delta employees come through the checkpoint you were required to stand and be alert. You meet great people usually the regulars from different airlines walk through the checkpoint and you learn their names. The job is how you make it. My advice is to avoid the drama alot of people there did take sides.
Baggage Handler in Windsor Locks, CT

Supervisor and managers sleeping with staff
Watching the managers and supervisors bring in their boyfriends. Give them more hours then other people that have been there . Upper management need to come see what they are doing here at Bradley Airport
Cabin Cleaner in Atlanta, GA

Easy Job, management could be a lot better
DGS Hiring Center seems to be under staffed which causes them to be unorganized. Too many people handling the hiring / training procedures. They have people coming back and forth to the facility too many times before you actually start to work. That particular area could be improved and handled differently. They have people confused and stressed out before the hiring process is over. (Could possibly be a strategy. Also, they should be more selective in hiring, those who meets company morals and core values.
