Security Observation of Traveling Public
Ramp Agent (Former Employee) –  Albuquerque, NMJuly 27, 2019
This is a highly visible activity, interacting with a constantly flowing public which requires a reserved yet friendly constant observation. Securing of luggage and personal items for safety consideration in travel.

Just a backwards company, please dont work here unless you prefer mental stress daily
Ramp Agent (Former Employee) –  Medford, ORJuly 24, 2019
Management is just horrible. The most two faced people you'll ever meet, that dont care about your personal problems, but tell you about their own. They act like the work out on the ramp is fair, while they sit inside all day on Corporate continues to slowly take benefits away and act surprised to hear employees are dropping like flies. I am a super optimistic person..and this review is 100% true. Managers act all happy and cheerful in the beginning but after workingt for awhile..you will see the lies and two faces

Passenger Service Assistant (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 24, 2019
Entire department unorganized management doesn’t respect employees . Play with your time and money and treats employees like children. Company doesn’t know how to recognize employees strengths and place them appropriately. Promotions based on if you kiss

low pay and neglectful
Ramp Agent (Former Employee) –  Greensboro, NCJuly 23, 2019
I worked over 5 years for this company part time and the only reason I stayed that long was flight benefits and some people were really fun to work with. It was a really fun job at first but morale quickly went down once the first station manager became complacent. Based on seniority you are promised a better schedule but soon as my time came up a new manager came in and didn't follow the rules. This company has went down to the lowest possible level it could go because of the way it treats it's employees. The flight "benefits" have become more of a "perk" than a benefit. You have to fight for time off to actually fly unless you're doing something under handed. You should not rely on this company as a main source of income or look for advancements.

Security Cart Screener (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTJuly 22, 2019
A typical day at work was enjoyable but the management and pay were very poor. There was a lot of favoritism which caused no opportunity to advance within the company. No real integrity in the company.

No organization in this organization!
Aircraft fueler (Former Employee) –  West Palm Beach, FLJuly 20, 2019
Management waited until the last minute to delegate responsibilities and did not have the proper equipment to allow employees to perform their duties. When problems arose management played the finger pointing game and upper management would argue with middle management and were known to get in fist fights on the ramp in view of passengers.

Customer Service Agent, Baggage Handler (Current Employee) –  Rochester, MNJuly 20, 2019
DGS used to be owned by Delta. Life was good. DGS is struggling to find their place now that they are not owned by Delta. It's still the better airline to work for but we are definitely the Delta stepchild now.

Lack of proper authorities without leadership training. Say one thing when it comes to the schedule but it's something totally different. A lot of favoritism

Not so good anymore
Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Eglin AFB, FLJuly 19, 2019
Since argenbright bought Dgs it has been chaotic. Benefits changed after a promise to keep everything as it is for the first year. People hired before the announced date found out a month later they have to pay to fly. The stations under argenbright are severely understaffed. Wages so low in some places you can’t afford to fly. Other airlines pay more
Pros
Cheaper flights
Cons
Can’t get on a flight too full

Two Faced and Dishonest
Customer Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Tulsa, OKJuly 18, 2019
Job was pleasant enough. The company is ungrateful for the job that was performed and the loyalty shown. The flight benefits have been cut to the point it makes it virtually impossible fly as an employee standby. That benefit is nothing but an illusion. Delta Airlines is no longer a majority shareholder. I do not intend to ever work with them again, or recommend someone to work there. They are cheap and racist, show no loyalty to the employees, and will lie about an employee to justify termination.

Security Officer (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 18, 2019
Great people.
The job is easy but plan to stand for long periods that can end up being the entire shift for some assignments.
Low pay, no annual increases
Flight benefits are great.
I recommend this as a second job for the supplemental income

Cabin Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTJuly 10, 2019
Very unprofessional. The supervisors are so lazy and think they’re better than everyone else! You’re over-worked and under-paid!! You are required to do so much and they keep adding things to make your job harder! Not worth the flight benefits.

Great job for people who like to stay busy
Cabin Agent (Current Employee) –  Hebron, KYJuly 3, 2019
I have been a cabin agent for over a year now and I love it. If you're the type of person who likes to stay busy so your day fly's by this is the job for you, when working together as a team the job is easy. This job is not intended for lazy people, as lazy people make the work harder on the rest of the team. I saw some people complaining about having to pay taxes on flights now, but it's still way cheaper then paying full price and you are still flying on one of the best airlines. Great job if you are a hard worker, take pride in your work, and take the initiative to do things without being told.

Wheelchair Passenger Agent (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 3, 2019
Unorganized, don’t pay for ALL the hours you worked, hard to get any time off and management were rude.
Managers wouldn’t stay to help when help is needed they would put it off on someone else.

Fun work company needs to treat employees better.
Ramp Supervisor (Current Employee) –  West Palm Beach, FLJuly 1, 2019
The job is fun. Management runs hot/cold. They don't take physical duress seriously. Manning is slipshod. There doesn't seem to be any loyalty shown towards the employees.

Bad Managment, Horrible Pay, No Advancement
Security Screener (Current Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJune 29, 2019
Management does not care for you, they do not promote within or respect their employees. You do not work for Delta that is a big misconception. This company is owned by Delta and Argenbright Holdings. Argenbright owns the majority of DGS. You do not have a break room, just a small fridge. Flight benefits suck, you have to pay a base fare and plus you are on the bottom on the standby list for Delta. You have mandatory trainings where they scold you. You are constantly being recorded and will penalize you if you talk negative about the company. There’s a massive turnover rate so be prepared to be called in constantly.
Pros
Semi Flight Benefits, Uniform Provided
Cons
Bad Management, Low wages, No growth
