I got hired the first interview I had, but my co-workers said they had to do multiple interviews with all the managers, that usually took up to a week to do.

Almost a month. Stay persistent call them and ask about paper work what days to come in, for orientation, and training, overall it took one-week of two interviews, one week of paper work and orientation. Then, one full week of training and testing. Total of three weeks until working completey.
