Only writing because required to post resume
Cashier/Cook (Former Employee) –  Portland, ORMay 28, 2019
Only writing this review because it's required to post resume. Sad that a job site requires you to jump through hoops prior to posting your resume which inturn generates them income.

Privately owned employer
sales (Current Employee) –  West CoastMay 10, 2019
I enjoy the people I work with. There is a home office disconnect that makes the job a little bit of a challenge. Employee churn rate at corporate seems to be a bit high. Wages could be better
Pros
Great co-workers
Cons
could be better managed and organised

Fast Paced Training
Accounts Receivable Clerk (Former Employee) –  Milwaukie, ORJanuary 8, 2019
This job was fast paced when training, and there is no recognition what so ever for the department I was in. My supervisor was not understanding and just didn't care enough to try to train me the right way. She just got frustrated when I didn't learn fast enough for her. I made me feel really stupid quick frequently throughout the day.
Pros
Good Company, Great Pay and Benefits
Cons
Supervisor was not patient when training

These are all temporary positions
Installation Technician (Former Employee) –  Idaho Falls, IDDecember 8, 2018
Ask them how many times they have posted these jobs before you accept any position. Its always about 3 months they are hiring again, right before you would be getting your benefits to kick in. They say full time but its temporary, they are working the system. The management is an absolute joke, the guy couldnt manage his way out of a corner. He will tell you what your job duties are, but will expect you to do everyones job and then come after you if you arent following that. Anyone you work with will sit around and force you to do all their work and then if you ask for help or have a question, they will act like you should know better. They preach family culture but they dont practice that. BE VERY CAREFUL IN ACCEPTING THIS, unless you only need to work for 3 months.

Technician (Former Employee) –  CaliforniaJune 8, 2018
This family run business is a joke. The family members are in leadership roles from president down with no experience but are control and power freaks. Even grandpa is in the mix and he is demanding and rude. They are filling their own pockets and could care less about their employees. Long time management team has drunk the koolaid
Pros
It was a job

Accountant/Office Administrator (Former Employee) –  Benicia, CAMarch 27, 2018
Day Wireless was a good company to work for with fast paced projects that always keep you busy. They work closely with Fire and Police Departments. The team was great to work with but the management was lacking.
Pros
Never a lull in work.
Cons
Not much room for growth or advancement.

The work environment is very causal. People at Day Wireless are great to work with. I enjoy coming to work every day. In my position my manager is very flexible and not a micro manger. He allows his personnel to do their jobs with high expectations, but plenty of support.
Pros
Good company culture and management team

Microwave/ Radio Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) –  Oakland, CAAugust 7, 2017
There is a very emphatic admonishing of personal safety, checking tools and equipment, and being careful in the work environments - which takes place often at heights dangerous to fall from. As well, being aware of high voltages and high current circuits.
Pros
Workdays and clients change
Cons
Often times, workdays can last more than 8 hours.

Two-way Radio Rental Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJuly 15, 2017
Family run business in smaller town Oregon has no idea how to relate to the Las Vegas, NV market. They never put the resources into backing the effort in Vegas and got what they deserved.

Tech Installer (Former Employee) –  Pasco, WAJuly 10, 2017
Treat you like you're nothing, wont spend any money to buy tools or decent lighting, its all about how the higher ups can make more money for themselves. Don't recommend this job to anyone.
Pros

Non existent managerial communication. Lots of office politics, poor attitudes
Journeyman installer (Current Employee) –  Burbank, CAFebruary 27, 2017
Extremely negative working environment. Nonexistent motivation and teamwork among projects and mobile employees. More like a group of individuals, each working, thinking and looking out for themselves. Zero accountability for work preformed. Lots of finger pointing and drama. Cancerous environment to work in day in and day out.
Pros
Work trucks you bring home everyday. Gas card
Cons
Pay, leadership, attitudes, accountability, teamwork, politics (office & Jobsites) among employees. Gossip and finger pointing

Sometimes nice place to work with little to no appreciation of employees
Radio Technician (Current Employee) –  Washington StateJuly 11, 2016
They refuse to honor commitments made to the employees, especially with regards to pay. Extremely stingy in all areas, pay, equipment, vehicles, etc. Co-workers and customers are the only bright spot in this company. Management is ridiculous to the extreme being micro-managed from the top not allowing the local managers to do what has to be done. They only provide training if they have to have it for a customer/or dealer requirement and of course try to find a way to make the customer pay for it.
The work itself is also very enjoyable being constantly changing and varied from what you are working on to being in a different location almost daily.
Cons
Pay

Tech SRVCS Director (Former Employee) –  Milwaukie, OregonAugust 6, 2015
Solid service providing family organization, with a foundation that continues to be sustainable because of the CEO's long term vision to diversify it's portfolio taking on DAS/BDA and tree farming solutions worldwide, and other Wireless technologies. The CEO is outstanding, and has a high concern about family, and the environment. I would not hesitate to work for Gordon Day in any capacity.
Pros
Leading Motorola Solutions Partner.
Cons
8 - 5 mininum flex time, nothing casual about Fridays.

Tower Technician (Former Employee) –  Milwaukie, ORApril 6, 2015
4, 10 hour days a week consisting of traveling to sites completing work and returning. Pack a lunch, and be physically able to climb on a moments notice. Tower jobs consist of building a tower site from ground up to replacing bulbs on towers and troubleshooting outages. You should be able to work at heights and be trained on how to change out connectors and make appropriate jumpers as well as understand hoisting points for putting up antennas.
Pros
Beautiful views from up tower, company has great benefits.
Cons
Tower climbing is dependent on job bids being won
