Poor Leadership
Project Manager (Current Employee) –  San Diego, CAApril 20, 2018
Leadership makes poor decisions and punishes the team. Morale is terrible and everyone is prepared to be laid off on any given day. Even with gaming companies being a volatile industry, this company is worse.

UI/UX Artist (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAMarch 27, 2018
It’s such a great company! Everyone works hard and so talented at what they do. If you get hired you will enjoy working here, it’s on its way to the top of computer gaming!

Daybreak- a fun place to work
QA Lead Platform (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAJanuary 27, 2018
It's a relaxed atmosphere and a place where you get out what you put into it. CS and QA managers are excellent and supportive, especially of new hires. If you want a place to work with low stress, at least in QA and CS, this is it.
Pros
Warm, supportive work environment and fun community
Cons
When it's time to crunch, the crunch can be hard, but worth it

Great place to work!
NA (Current Employee) –  Rancho Bernardo, CAMarch 29, 2017
After working from home for 5+ years, I dreaded going back to an office. I was so surprised about the relaxed culture here when I came on board. Stocked lunchroom, flexible hours, dog friendly, and super creative environment. They are a booming company and with that always comes some growing pains, but the future looks bright for this one. There is a lot of great talent working here, and it seems like they are all working towards the same goal. There is room for growth and advancement within, and the technologies used are cutting edge. If you have to go to an office to work, go to this one.
Pros
Environment, culture, hours, perks, benefits
Cons
It's still work

Fun and creative, but lacks competitive pay and advancement opportunities
Game Master/Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  San Diego, CAJuly 10, 2015
While this company is a fun place to work in a creative field it lacks competitive compensation and advancement opportunities. The current business state serves only those at the top and offers little to the people below them that put them there. While this company is a good place to gather skills and learn, it does not prove to be a career in which one can support themselves.
Pros
Creative environment with friendly coworkers.
Cons
Lack of opportunity for growth within the company.

Great coworkers, job security was always a looming concern for employees
Web Artist II / UI Art & Design for H1Z1 (Current Employee) –  San Diego, CAMarch 15, 2015
I loved working with all the creative people and learning a ton from other designers from various backgrounds. I made some great connections and friends while working there.
Pros
Free coffee, excellent health benefits
Cons
Work/life balance is tough, location on Miramar was TERRIBLE.
