I would improve the virtual reach-back support capabilities for acquisition processes and documentation. DoD Acquisition can be rather convoluted and challenging. Having a familiar resource to draw upon is helpful in a fast paced environment.

A typical day really depends upon the Government customer you support. As a project/program manager it is a typical 8 hour office day reviewing program support elements, planning future activities, and documenting required information per DODD 5000.XX series of guidance.
From time to time there is required travel to meet and review aspects of the program.

The best part of working for DCS Corp is that it is an employee-owned company. DCS is still small enough that the CEO and COO travel to meet with employee-owners to personally update them on the growth of the company.
DCS is a big company that still feels like a family-owned business.

It depends upon the program you support, but generally there is some flexibility of when you start and when you finish the day. Flexibility can be spelled out in the contract under which you work
