CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in Raleigh, NC
on December 7, 2022

I've found jobs that have offered me more money than some LPN positions. I can create my own schedule which is helpful because I'm in school. The only con is you're basically at the mercy of the facilities that need assistance. You have have to travel far, but if you live in a larger city with lots of facilities, it's definitely a plus.

Worked as a nurse. I was let go from a assignment without recruiter informing me. Constant uncertainty regarding contracts and consistent work. The one positive is they allow you to accumulate PTO.

I only worked with in-home cases but the staff and management at DNA was very supportive and responsive. The past was pretty good and I basically made my own hours.

Good starting job for recent college grads, hours are good, salary pay could be better, bonus structure not great. Definitely a lot of favoritism and immaturity with primarily 20-30 year olds making up the company. Turnover is awful, about 1 new person leaves a day but they replace them next day. Management is definitely lacking and can be micromanaging but at least get a lot of good entry level experience.

Just about future goals and where I want to see my self in a few years, mostly. Also making sure I am able to answer lots of phone calls and emails at the same time

What experience I have. How many years. Why I chose to be a CNA.

Shared on August 30, 2022

They didn’t ask much during interview except for how long I’ve been a nurse for (I was only 3 months) and certain certifications and I was hired immediately.
