Major Account Executive (Former Employee) –  Latham, NYJuly 27, 2018
Direction from senior management is lacking. CEO is excellent but his vision is being carried out loosely at best by his underlings. Sales operations needs to restructure.

At this time I decline to submit a review about Deep Blue Communications. But the employees are fantastic but the management is very disorganized. A lot of favoritism and politic when it comes to promotion.

Good place to begin a networking networking career
Network Engineer (Current Employee) –  Latham, NYApril 12, 2018
Once you move up to a tier 2 or 3 in the helpdesk you begin to learn about networking. You can learn things like Vlans, Radius, subnetting, static routes, and NAT rules.
Pros
Holiday Party, Double Time on Holidays

Great people, poor company
Help Desk Technician (Former Employee) –  Latham, NYAugust 21, 2017
The people i worked with were great. Management and other staff were all over the place and not very helpful. Training was a joke and they set up to to fail right from the start. The pay way under the average pay rate and the vacation is a joke as well. Stay away if you want to move up or have a career job.
Pros
great people.
Cons
management, pay, structure of the company.

Productive and highly competitve work environment
Senior Account Executive (Current Employee) –  Latham, NYApril 25, 2017
Typical day is interfacing with customers via telephone and recording all activity in CRM. I learned a tremendous amount of cold calling and customer interfacing strategies. The work environment was acceptable. Hardest part of the job is interfacing with customer strictly over the phone. Most enjoyable part of the job is the people. The passion for what we do comes from the top down and helps drive everyone's success.
Pros
Home office
Cons
Lack of communications at times

Tier 2 Network Technician (Current Employee) –  Latham, NYSeptember 12, 2016
Deep Blue has been an amazing company to work for so far. The environment is really low pressure and relaxed. You aren't micromanaged, and you don't have to answer to some call metric that someone decided to make up. They review your calls, and let you handle how to improve yourself. Lots of room for growth too.
Pros
Awesome environment and team.
Cons
None.
