The drug screen is performed at Quest Diagnostics (offsite from Delray Medical Center [DMC]). DMC is NOT a nicotine free hospital (like Cleveland Clinic) and therefore they do NOT test for cotinine or nicotine. Note that alcohol testing is only performed for employees if they suspect alcohol usage on the job. The Drug Screen used is Drug Abuse Panel 10-50, with Confirmation, Urine; Test code 23490 and CPT code 80307 which includes amphetamines, barbs, benzos, cocaine, marijuana (THC), methadone, methaqualone, opiates, phencyclidine and propoxyphene.
