The hours will depend on the role in the company and the needs of our customers. For Technicians, it will also depend on you. Since technicians are paid on commission, many of them choose to work a little longer to get a little more work done each day. This can really make a positive impact on their paycheck.

It depends on the role you are in. If you are a technician on a mobile route, then you are provided with a company vehicle and gas card, as well as all the tools and equipment necessary to be successful. However, if the role is only in a fixed site location (auction, rental lot, etc...) then you are provided with all of the tools and equipment at that location and there is no need for a company vehicle. You will know if the role is mobile or fixed site during the application and interview process.

All of out technicians are paid on a commission structure, so a lot of how much you make depends on you and the work that you do. However, we also ensure that our employees are taken care of, so sometimes that means a guaranteed commission when you are starting or a sign on bonus. Technicians commission structure is also adjusted (increased) as their skills and time with the company increase. Technicians who are hungry for work and give their all, are often very happy with their paychecks.

I know that we use PPG in a lot of locations. However, because we are all over the United States we sometimes have to use other vendors and specific products. Availability and regional or local restrictions can cause this. If you are interested in a specific job and want to know about the products we use there, give our recruiting team and call and they will get the answers for you!

Be yourself and be honest. Dent Wizard is always looking for great team members who can add value and expertise to their already extremely talented and diverse team. I always recommend looking at the company website. This will help you understand more about the company up front and make for a much more robust conversation during the interview process. It will also help you craft some questions to ask your interviewers. If you are a technician who had done work in the past, bring in some sample or pictures of the work that you are most proud of to show your interviewer. This will help them understand what you are capable of. The most important thing is to just relax. Dent Wizard has a great culture and we are looking for people who can add value to the company and have the drive to keep Dent Wizard as the leader in Automotive Reconditioning.
