Dental Dreams was a fun learning experience.
Dental Assistant (Former Employee) –  Waukegan, ILSeptember 12, 2018
Everyone worked as a team. If someone was stuck another assistant would come to help. It was a great place to start learning how to be a Dental Assistant.

Slave hours
Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Waukegan, ILMarch 15, 2018
You'll work 12 hour shifts with 20 minute breaks. You call people all day and the manager would get mad if you'd get up even to use the bathroom. The only reason you'd stay at this job is if you were completely desperate. I stayed for a month but during that month we had a new girl every week because everyone would quit within a week. This company is a joke
Pros
nothing positive to say
Cons
Very poor management, Horrible hours

Very Productive
Dental Assistant (Current Employee) –  Waukegan,ILJanuary 22, 2015
A typical day for a Dental Dream assistant who delivers patients will:
- Bring patients in the room and make them comfortable, prepare them for treatment, and obtain dental records.
-hand instruments and material to dentist, and keep the patients, mouth dry and clear by using the suction and other devices.
-sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment and prepare trays.
-sometimes prepare material for making impressions and process dental X-ray.
-perform coronal polishing and sealants.

Dental Assistant (Former Employee) –  Waukegan, ILNovember 28, 2012
A typical day at work was busy. The day would go by fast. Patients were coming in and out constantly. Since I am a Medical Assitant I did not know anything about being a Dental Assistant. Therefore, everyday I would learn knew things. For example, the name of the tools, different sides to a tooth, xrays, and cleaning procedure. The management was great. If I needed help in anything my manager was available during office hours at all times. My co-workers were great too. Alwasy willing to help out or assist in procedures (if needed). The hardest part of my job was understanding the dentist when doing a procedure. The most enjoyable part of my job was interacting with my patients. Everyday I would learn something new about them, and seeing them walk out with a great smile. Thats when you know you did a great job.
Pros
interacting with the dentist, staff, and patients
Cons
short breaks
