Texas Works Advisor (Former Employee) –  Waxahachie, TXJuly 27, 2018
HHSC was very stressful when we got BPR. I immediately started looking for another job. We got a new supervisor who did not even know how to work TIERS but gave her workers a hard time at ALL times. She made morale horrible and I no longer enjoyed coming to work. We couldnt talk to our peers or anything when she was around. I never want to work for a Sandra Johnson in life again. Once we went into BPR it was more about production and numbers it was no longer about the client. I felt like a call center.
Pros
benefits were great
Cons
It felt like prison.

There is a major discrepancy in the amount of work for the amount of pay. The people are great to work with and are very supportive but the pay does not equate to the cost of living.

Fine temporary work, but not steady enough work to be an only job. Enjoyed meeting new people, and having a chance to give back to community. Management and co-workers are very easy to get along with, the culture is professional and relaxed.
