load pay was not compatible when delivering in the metro area due to long traffic jams, road closings and wait times at the rack. Routes not evenly distributed as promised.

Desert Refined Products Transport failed to comply with department of transportation regulation. Dispatchers encouraged drivers to work illegally. The safety manager failed to contain knowledge in response to policy and procedures.
Class A cdl fuel hauler in Phoenix, AZ

-Your paychecks will bounce. More than once -Insurance has lapsed twice and they wont tell you. You will find out when you go to the doctor and have no insurance, but they will continue to take out the premiums. -Worst equipment in the industry. Million mile trucks and beyond, are the norm -12-14 hour days. If you want anything less you will be treated as if you're lazy and that you owe it to the company. -This is a real "good ol" boy company that is BARELY surviving year after year. -almost every veteran has left. The only thing they can get in the door now are greenhorns that don't know any better, or drivers that are just as bad as the company -Lots of shady back office financial tactics that I'm sure the IRS would love to know about, just to keep the doors open. (such as keeping your premiums with no insurance. -You truly are a zero at DRPT. The owner doesn't appreciate you, what you do for him. If there was ever an owner that doesn't care about you, This is him. -And let's not forget about the time he tried to pocket our 500 dollar bonus from Arco until he was threatened with a lawsuit and then "most" of our bonuses showed up. Overall this is not one of, but THE worst gas company you can work for. The working environment and morale at DRPT will weigh on you. You are paid better than most in Arizona but you have to ask yourself what that really means to you. Best of Luck
