Executive Assistant (Former Employee) – Boston, MA – August 19, 2018
I worked for the DWS Investments and DWS Trust side of Deutsche Bank in Boston Massachusetts. I worked for two great bosses and an amazing Outside Sales Team. I miss this job as well. It was a sad departure.
VR Progam Manager (Current Employee) – New York, NY – August 16, 2018
Although the environment is very stressful, the Team of people that I worked with made up for the tough times and the work was really enjoyable. The roles are getting harder as DB undergo financial difficulties
MANAGING DIRECTOR (Current Employee) – New York, NY – August 1, 2018
Of the 96000 people working here more than 60% have to be looking, it is sad to see how DB has lost its market value and good people. New CEO is clueless and thinks he can cut his way to profitability. Hey dude, pull your head out growing the business is the only way back to profitability.
The only way to get promoted at this place is to cozy up to a manager and do a lot of outside work volunteering. No matter how well you do your job, it means nothing in the area of advancement. Also work with a global team. But the team really isn't a team. One region pushes its preferences to make process changes.
Associate (Former Employee) – New York, NY – July 30, 2018
I have never experienced a work environment where management takes side of a group praising it more than the other group,. At group meeting we were the lesser competent in doing our job with professionalism and effectiveness.
Great culture and diversity. A lot of opportunity for upward and lateral movility
Client On-Boarding Assistant Vice President (Former Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – July 26, 2018
Very enjoyable job. Great culture with opportunities to move laterally and upward in multiple job and product areas. Great benefits and competitive salaries. Several Employee Resource Groups give opportunity to network and volunteer
AVP (Former Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – July 26, 2018
The bank promotes a work / life balance, but this is not true. They will demand you work overtime to get the job done, do not care about a work / life balance. No advancement, they see it better to lay off and bring in new hires rather than promote.
