I would give people more hours after the holidays. Dicks Sporting Goods , unfortunately has periods after the holidays to where you aren't scheduled for weeks. And if you are to be scheduled it would be like a 10-2 shift. It's not fair to some adults as well who pay bills.

You get asked a lot of questions like other jobs , but the number one thing is availability. If your availability is not good you will most likely not be hired. One of the managers will walk you around and will schedule for another day to do computer work then get you to work.

Surprisingly no. Background check to be a CSS ( customer service specialist) or selling firearms/ammunition, but no drug test. If your hurt YES. Distribution center jobs are more strict then store level

During the holidays , youll have plenty of hours I even go into overtime. Other then the holidays youll work shorter shifts or just not at all.

If your not leadership or salary based roles they are quite flexible. Current changes now if your a LEAD of a department ( full time) or salaried manager you almost are required anymore to have open availability or risk being demoted or fired.

Once I submitted my application I got a call the next day to set up an interview which was 2 days later. I got hired at the interview and went back for orientation about a week later. The day after my orientation I started my training on the floor.
