I can't say enough good things about the people that own and run Digital Prospectors. Don, Chris, Kevin, Corey, and Jess are all some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. They don't just feel like bosses, they feel like friends, like family. Unfortunately my recruiting style didn't translate to our industry. I will certainly keep in touch with them through the years. I also made a few really great friends that I will miss working with.

I was a contractor for them at Abiomed in Danvers, Massachusetts. It was supposed to be a contract to hire position with the contract to last 6 months then I would be hired on as an Abiomed employee. The recruiters were supportive, but they sent me to the client and they were not prepared for me and I was set up to fail. No training plan was in place, the manager I reported to had bad feedback and communication skills. He never told there was a problem and gave me no chance to correct any concerns and I was let go after 2 months. The manager didn't even say he was dropping the position, had my recruiter call me at 8pm to tell me not to report to work.

Digital Prospectors (DPC) found me my current position as a Deputy System Engineering Test Director at MIT/Lincoln Laboratory. There I create system and software test plans and procedures for a Space Situational Awareness program supporting the US Air Force. I have learned many different skills such as Maven, Subversion (SVN), Eclipse, Perl, Hadoop, JMeter, some Java and space systems engineers roles. The management at DPC is outstanding in providing career support and placement at prestigious organizations. By general consensus of contractors at MIT/Lincoln Laboratory, DPC is far and away the best contracting company to be employed by. DPC has also been referred to as the best company to find qualified contractors for Lincoln Lab. The hardest part of my position is rising to the challenge of interacting with brightest of the bright in the world. The most enjoyable part of my position is interacting with the brightest of the bright that challenges me to perform to my very best. I enjoy working with the people here.
