Cook (Current Employee) – Buffalo, NY – July 25, 2018
A typical day would be arriving and starting lunch, homemade soup and whatever I chose to put on the menu, lunch is rather simple, sandwiches or dinner entrees scaled down. Management int there a lot and we were left to do things as we were taught or have knowledge of, relating to the Priests on a friendly basis. Lunch is served family style and I then cleaned the dishes and set dinner place settings.Continue on to make dinner, I also made up the menus so I try to put different healthy but enjoyable meals on for them to enjoy. Each house run by the Diocese only has a few workers, myself, a pt cook and a full time housekeeper and pt one. The hardest part of the job is getting to know these men and then dealing with them passing away. They are lovely men and became like family. That was my favorite part, I will miss working for them!
Teacher (Former Employee) – Williamsville, NY – April 30, 2018
Taught middle school English and Math. Kids were good. Principal was not easy to work with. Non-trusting. Teachers would discuss other teachers behind their backs and usually filtered to principal who would take such chatter at their word.
