I worked here looooong ago. I would be surprised if they are still in business. Direct Brands managed different book clubs and DVD clubs that were based a "forget to opt out, and you're screwed" or a "surprise! nothing is really free" scheme (when I worked there at least). This job really just doesn't stand out in my memory. Giving it a 3 star to be safe.

The negative option business model on which this company was built was no longer profitable. The owners could not figure out how to reverse that. Therefore, layoffs were common. Work atmosphere was generally not positive.
