I hated it! The entire first hour on the clock was spent sitting in a chair listening to one or more of the higher ups brow beat everybody about lack of sales, metrics, more lack of sales, more metrics, which all will lead to no promotions. It would have been much more beneficial to spend that hour going over some stuff that was completely lacking from our training. (i.e. how to build/install an international dish, troubleshooting tips, TV mounting tips, OTA antenna installations) It was overload on sales and no concern at all whether or not installs & trouble calls were going smoothly. A total waste of an hour each morning. Very demoralizing and tore everybody down at the beginning of each shift. Left you wondering WHY they cared more about what you sold the prior day than they cared how your installs and troubleshooting calls went. Bottom line, METRICS, everybody is a metric and expendable.
I was giving myself an Ulcer fretting about my metrics. Worked there for 6 months and saw some goals get increased to twice what they were when I started. General Manager literally told everyone in the meeting they were a number on a spreadsheet to him. When I turned in my notice they just cut me off the schedule completely without telling me, woke up the next morning to no route.
Job sucks, your not a field tech..... you are a nothing but a salesman. That's all they care about. Sales!!! They keep raising the metrics and expectations. Monty personally said that we are a dime a dozen. High turn around in this field with low starting pay in the industry.

At first I enjoyed going to work and had a positive attitude. But the negative culture created by management turns you into a zombie going through the motions.
