Leasing Consultant/Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) – Arlington, VA – October 8, 2017
When you first work for Dittmar they treat you like royalty. Then literally after a week they use you like a dog.... Make you work on days you don't want to etc. This company is a family based company which means there is no way you can advance up since you have to know someone in the higher department. I do not reconmend anyone to work here. They favor certain employees etc.
Free (disgusting) coffee
It's impossible to move up your job description such as becoming a manager etc.
Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee) – Arlington, VA – June 6, 2017
No raises and unless you're family or suck up to management there is no room for growth. I worked with hard working individuals that had been with Dittmar for over 8 years and were still stuck with the same low pay and had moved no where to a higher position. Management is nice, some are harder to work with. No Christmas bonuses or much over time is allowed, no paid days off. The only good thing is you get paid every week, so you always have money. Co-Workers I had and met were amazing. This is definitely not a permanent job to keep if you actually look forward to move up or be somewhere great later in your life. People were always quitting
Front Desk Clerk (Current Employee) – Arlington , Virginia – January 31, 2015
most front desk work like receiving calls and checking in tenants, responding to their queries, checking and receiving packages from delivery companies. I learned to vigilante and attentive to detail. management is helpful and supportive. co-workers are friendly and push you to do your best. the hardest part of the job is during the holiday season when a lot of [packages are delivered. there are bound to be mistakes in writing up the package list. the most enjoyable is dealing wit different clients from around the world.
