Great Job

It's probably one of the best landscaping jobs that I've worked for in my life and I work for quite a few of them it management excellent the owners reliable trustworthy and honest and a good teacher I didn't mind going to work at all when I work at DKD property Management.

Manager there was very great at teaching all areas of management. She was a great listener. Corporate on the other hand only promotes friends and family members of their own.

You worked your butt off, but saw the rewards and a company who cared

I have to say even thou it was hard with long hours, it was one of the best companies I've worked for. The company cared about it's employees and acknowledged them and the hard work we did. Opened office, met with maintenance personnel, went over work orders, special projects, time deadlines. Got messages from the phone, made callbacks, worked on existing recertification's, verifications needed. Answered phones, inquiries, resident questions, walk-ins, resident concerns.Scheduled vendors when needed, walked the property inspecting buildings, grounds and any noncompliance issues, taking notes. Opened laundry room, cleaned office and foyer and community room and windows. Ran errands if needed, made bank deposits. Followed up on work orders, calling and sometimes made in person visits, move-out inspections, worked on resident files making sure everything was in order. Typed notes in resident files on various issues. Followed up with admin. asst. notes in files, making corrections. Made appointments on annual certifications, went over paperwork with residents. Ran reports, spoke to regional when needed, checked emails from home office, closed office.

Upper management is plesant, appreciate employees

I liked working for DKD. I liked my onsite staff. And my Regional Manager was so nice. The work environment can be very stressful from time to time but overall, I really enjoyed my time with them.

Great Company

This has been a great company to work for. They provide lots of training when necessary as well as many initiatives to keep employees safe while at the work place. There are many opportunities to advance within DKD.

DKD was a family company that was great to work for employees always gave more than 100%

Working at DKD taught me to give 100+ percent. They cared for their employees and showed it. All my coworkers were long term employees, that loved being at work. As the owners retired the management of the company changed.

Pros

Pension benefits were outstanding, the pay was great and in previous years they were very flexible and family oriented
