I would definitely highly recommend working for DNV Energy; great place to work. Great pay and excellent benefits. Great quality of life work schedule.

For the most part, it’s a good company. Local team is full of good people. Local management is lacking. Currently hybrid, but manager is never in the office. Research your local team, each operates nearly independent from DNV, the company.

A steady job with good work-life balance, not much innovation or excitement. Managers tend to support the direction the way they want to, but higher management neglect some stuff sometimes. It's not easy to move the department. The only bad thing about DNV is that there is no much room for improvement in skill development.

Company (US Pipeline Business) is a thin shell of what it once was but management seems complacent about that. If you want to work for an outfit that is slowly shrinking but you want a "comfy family atmosphere", pick this one.

If you aren't to worried about getting the maximum salary for your field DNV is a good fit for you. They have the best benefits of any company I've worked for (PTO, Sick Leave, very high matching 401k, medical/dental/vision etc) and are very easy to work for. Billable hour requirements are very reasonable and overtime needs are rare. Regular raises and bonuses can help compensate for a somewhat lower average pay. If you chose to be aggressive in your pay ask during the interview process you may be able to have the best of all worlds.
