Laid back interview...informal and relaxed setting. You begin the interview with telling the manager about yourself and your background...then you can expect questions such as: 1." Why do you want to work here?" 2. What makes you think you would be a good fit for Dogtopia?" 3. " What type of availability do you have?" Etc. I applied for Canine Coach but due to my office experience I was offered front of house. But expect to learn all positions in the house-( Canine Coach, Rover & Front of House). Best of luck if this is the career you are looking for. Bonus: you can bring your dog to work-- providing he or she passes the evaluation.:) P.S. check out You Tube videos to aquaint yourself with Dogtopia. A fairly helpful insight into the franchise.

Was asked to come in for a working interview, and I did. They bring you to the dog play room and let you interact with the dogs and ask questions. But they had at least 4 other people going in for working interviews on that same day I went, but we were asked to go home and think about it after only 5-10 minutes of being in there, and to call back if we were interested. Well, I did, and got told that the position had already been filled. Almost seems like they had the position filled already and were just looking at other people just in case.

Oddly too professional

Got put on the spot, not the best at interviewing, I'd say too professional, and way too expectant and my interviewer didn't smile at all. Very random questions

Met with the owner and manager. Had a tour of the facility, went into one of the playrooms and this is where they really watch you to see how you interact with the dogs to see if you show fear or any emotion when in the play room. Then we went to the office where they asked about experience and education and if you were looking for a job in the playroom or up front. Very laid back interview. Got hired on the spot.
