Program Manager (Former Employee) – Sunnyvale, CA – August 22, 2018
Dolby was a great place to work- plenty of interesting work, benefits and flexible time. Some of the old timers are a little lax but for the most part I found most employees were happy to do their job and help out in new situations.
Great flexibility, great benefits, good co-workers, and get to watch new movies!
Data Analyst Intern (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – January 7, 2018
Dolby is an amazing company to work for. Perfect work-balance. Since Dolby has been around for a while, management style is old fashioned i.e. no open to new ideas. This is not true for every team but only for some of them.
QA Intern (Former Employee) – Sunnyvale, CA – November 24, 2017
During my time at Dolby I became acquainted with a wide variety of professional engineers and coders and learned aspects of the very complex and specific science of image research and algorithms. I got an idea of how professionals work together, the work ethic, typical company practices, and security of certain information as well as an understanding of the industry which controls the video quality of nearly every type of media.
IT Technical Support (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – July 19, 2017
This company was most enjoyable job that I worked with. The IT team is supporting and helping each member of the team, no competition, everyone is a team player. The IT manager is also nice to work with, he always supports the team, which makes our job easier and fun place to work.
Production Technician (Former Employee) – Ozark, MO – May 20, 2017
the place was great to work at first and management seamed super nice , but when the work flow picked up and the management let there anger and frustration roll out on employees. Management is very pore and HR sides with whats best for Company and not whats best for employee. would not send anyone to work there.
