It's very clear Dollar tree doesn't require literacy, or none of you, would have a job. Good grief, you're talking about employment, proof read. One can't even spell dollar (Dollor). The Felon is the only one of you I'd even hire.

I'm convicted of a violent felony. They hired me, they did NOT do a background check. They do it for managers though. But the one that hired me (in Fl) did not do a background check and I started next day.

They do do a background check on any member of management, fortunately they do not consider dismissed or arrests like some other places. I’m thankful for that and am a very dedicated asstiant manager to manager!

Yes. No background check unless you are going for an assistant or store manager position. Like most companies, they go by California law, goes 5 years back for a felony after probation ends but this is only if it’s not violent or deals with theft. A drug felony for example needs to be 5 years after probation

Yes. Even for management positions. Dollar Tree is a good place to start getting your life back on track. Since the management background check only goes back 3 years for misdemeanors and 10 years for felons, you could start as a cashier or sticker and wait it out... while gaining experience.
