They've talked about raises but nothing has been set in stone, however they do offer bonus pay for peak hours which is never a guarantee

You are paid per delivery, not an hourly wage, so the idea of raises should be tossed out. Each order presents a route from your current location to the restaurant and then to the customer’s location, along with a “guaranteed” payout for that order. You can accept or decline. In my experience within my area, the guaranteed payout ranges from $4 up to $10 per order, with most being in the $6-8 range. Has been my experience that typically you will complete 2 deliveries per hour.
DoorDash does offer peak hour incentives most days, where you can earn extra money on each delivery within a certain timeframe provided you complete at least 2 deliveries and accept at least 80% of orders given to you. Those incentives can range from $1 to $8 extra on each delivery in my area. So, for instance, if you complete 6 deliveries between 4:30pm and 9:30pm and there is a $3 peak bonus... you will get your guaranteed payouts + tips + $18 bonus. I’ve never had any issues with getting “screwed” out of these so I don’t know what others are referring to with that. You get out of DD what you put into it.
They never occur at all. There are no raises.
