Going through a rough transition period. Was once a great company, now they are struggling to keep employees.
Distribution Specialist (Current Employee) –  Portland, TNOctober 30, 2018
They are going through a rough transition period where they are expanding and growing. Mandatory overtime one week then vto the next. Some workers can't come in for overtime due to school, other jobs, or families but you aren't exempt from the overtime. Recently management and the long term veterans of the company have been leaving and the culture the company once took pride of is dwindling and fading away. It was once a very family oriented place and now it seems to be all business. They also like to change what you can and can't do without telling you or giving you a reason as to why on a regular basis.
Pros
Amazing health care
Cons
Poor management

Used to be engaging and worthwhile.
Material Handler (Current Employee) –  Warsaw, KYOctober 23, 2018
it used to be that your success was in your own hands, you weren’t hovered over or micromanaged. This past summer that all changed. Supervisors and Leads will hide around corners or in aisles to hopefully “bust” you not working. It’s really sad, it used to be a culture of family, work and appreciation for the little guy. Something changed and now it’s all about $$$.
Additionally leadership has been very cliquey. If they have issues with you they don’t talk to you about it so you have the choice to change or whatever. They much rather ignore you or chase you off.
On the off chance that leadership likes you, you’ll go far, even if you are completely inept for the job.
If you’re stuck down in this area it’s about the only place to work besides NAS or KU.
Pros
You get money on your birthday, if you have the health insurance and participate in the programs you get gift cards worth $50- $100, .
Cons
Moral is low, environment is not friendly.

Good job, just stressed
Distribution specialists (Former Employee) –  Warsaw, KYJuly 15, 2018
Its a good place to work, I hated that management picks and chooses who can advance based on who is a friend to them and spends more time socializing with them than working. Same old things everywhere. Of you can get past that, the pay is good and so are the benefits.

It's your basic factory/warehouse job
Material Handler 1 (Former Employee) –  Warsaw, KYApril 28, 2018
A typical day in distribution consists of a 10hr shift of operating a pallet rider carrying a Gaylord, picking parts into case boxes and taking the Gaylord to the shipping floor to be closed and put on the truck.

Receiving consists of unloading the trucks (depending on items, i.e. rad. fans, have to be unloaded by hand), then (re)palleted, and taken to the warehouse until picked by distribution or production staff.

Production consists of taking raw material (and sometimes finished goods) and repackaging them into finished goods, either by hand or by machine.
