Management would try their best to help with any question or problem you would have. Very extensive trainings so you would feel like you knew exactly what to do. Working with the children made it a very rewarding job.

Great place. Really care about those they serve. The environment is very family like. Would recommend to anyone. I feel the leadership cares about their employees and their well being.

Low pay in a high stress environment. Management is dramatic and doesn’t care to cut corners. You’ll be treated badly with no solutions to the poor treatment. Very unsupportive environment but if you enjoy the work it can pay off.

There is a sense of family when you work for Douglas Cherokee Economic Authority. Yes there is too many trainings but some are really good and useful in the classroom. They will do whatever they can to help you be successful in the classroom. Its really a great job to make an impact on the next generations which is critical. Any job is what you make of it!
