The job has good and bad qualities.
The job can be very stressful at times, dealing with residents who suffer with mental health issues, as well as, substance abuse issues. I work nights and travel from Snohomish, which takes one hour, one way, with no traffic. The one good thing about the job, is PTO (paid time off) is earned very liberally. After two years on the job, I earn 11.88 hours - more ... every pay period, which is two weeks. The main problem, is that the residents can get out of hand fairly easily. There are many days, when the employees are taking some kind of verbal abuse, and sometime even physical abuse. - less
