The most useful review selected by IndeedGood pay not no position is safe- no stability or job security If you have a bad month or week even you could be out. Cold calling with cminimum call requirments you have to do your own prospecting going out and finding your own leads and then cold calling them all day.
Pros
Dope offices, dope people
Cons
No job security

Revolving door company with no job security
Graphic Designer (Former Employee) - Nashville, TN - October 10, 2023
Fast paced environment gives you an opportunity to learn quickly. Everyone is overworked and underpaid except for the sales department. CEO and his boys club pay themselves handsomely for minimal work and abysmal management. There is a clear disconnect between "leadership" and the actual workers. "Leadership" doesn't understand any of the processes they implement (how the sausage is made so to speak). If you take a job here you will be overworked, underpaid, and taken advantage of. This company does not believe in a work life balance, and cannot keep employees for longer than a few months. I still believe it was a good learning experience after all that, but just be wary if you take a job here. Management will lie about anything and everything, make false promises, and try to intimidate you. Oh also, most of the positions are done completely digitally, but the higher ups have bad attitude towards remote or even hybrid work (despite the fact that they ALL work remotely). You'll also be stuck in at least 5 meetings a day which will prevent you from getting any actual work done.
Pros
Somewhat lax dress code depending on office location.
Cons
Too many meetings, low pay, bad leadership, no training.

Jobs at Drive Social Media
Hard Work Pays Off
Director of Strategy (Current Employee) - Miami, FL - December 5, 2022
If you enjoy helping a variety of small businesses grow then this is the place for you. The way Drive tracks and shows results is truly unparalleled to any other social media company or freelancer out there. Drive cares about data driven results, plain and simple. If it doesn't push to make money, then forget about it. There's personal growth and it has to be earned, not given.
Pros
Great product, personal growth, fun, and rewarding
Cons
Face paced work environment

Fun, Rewarding, Fast Paced
Director of Strategy (Current Employee) - Tampa, FL - November 30, 2022
Drive has been, by far, the most rewarding experience in a career where I have had the opportunity to work for some of the best companies out there. The culture is fun, the opportunity for growth is huge, and the services we provide are successful and trackable. I'm truly proud of the work we do for our partners. I've also made lifelong friends both inside the company and with our clients.
Pros
Growth Opportunities, Fun Environment, Exciting Technology
Cons
Fast Paced - you can't mail it in and expect to see results

3x ROI Your Career
Director of Strategy (Current Employee) - Miami, FL - November 29, 2022
Working at Drive Social Media has allowed me to make huge advancements in my career — from starting on the Pod as a Copywriter to a position in Leadership within three and a half years. Drive is an extremely ambitious agency, focused on growth. This presents team members with a huge opportunity to grow their careers, both in terms of title and financial compensation. As an agency, Drive is a very fast-paced work environment with teams responsible for working on multiple accounts in their portfolio. This allows the team to gain accelerated experience and knowledge, as the teams aren't industry specific — one day you're working with a doughnut shop and the next a funeral home!
Pros
High growth potential, fair compensation for experience, relocation opportunities, performance based bonus
Cons
fast-paced

Most empowering job I've ever had
Director of Strategy (Current Employee) - St. Louis, MO - October 3, 2022
Drive does a wonderful job of giving people opportunity to succeed. I personally have worked at Drive for less than 18 months and have been promoted twice! A lot of my counterparts have experienced the same type of upward movement. Drive expects hard work and a good attitude, like any place, but the opportunity to advance is completely unmatched compared to my previous agency and corporate jobs. Nobody's ever given me the opportunity to succeed and grow.
Pros
Growth potential for sales and non-sales positions, great culture
Cons
It's not a place to sit around and phone it in. If you're looking for a job to be on autopilot, this is not it.

Hard work is rewarded better than any other company
Director of Human Resources (Current Employee) - St. Louis, MO - October 3, 2022
Only being here a short time has shown the company values the hard work that the team does. The harder you work the more you are rewarded. Isn't that what we all want from a job? I feel it's best to put my best foot forward on all tasks and try to make the best of every opportunity that is given to me. All of those that do the same here have increased their base salaries, been promoted, and grown careers with loyalty and hard work.
Pros
Short term disability fully paid, parental leave for all employees, great 401k match, awesome coworkers
Cons
Lacks flexibility working schedule is standard

Drive Social Media Focuses on the Numbers
Analytics Manager (Current Employee) - Miami, FL - August 5, 2022
Overall, working at Drive Social Media has exposed me to some incredible co-workers, professionals from all sorts of industries and taught me a lot about not only paid social marketing but PPC, web development, email marketing, and more. Drive Social Media has provided me with a fulfilling job where I can work on the analytics and show the clients actual results with data backed reasoning. The company puts their analytical work first to make the advertising work better.

Ironically, "Driven" people do better at Drive.
Director (Current Employee) - Saint Louis County, MO - April 6, 2022
It takes the right kind of person to succeed at Drive - that person is motivated, a go-getter, & is laser-focused on their goals. I find most people who are unhappy with their experience at Drive either weren't self-aware enough to ask for help, get additional coaching, or are just culturally not a good fit. The work itself isn't hard but navigating the timelines and changing scopes can be challenging at times. I have never felt more personally rewarded than working at Drive. As a new employee within 6 months, I have made such a difference already. I think if you are looking for a place to shine and grow in your career because of who you are & your work ethic Drive is a great place for you. The company culture is lax & fun as it should be for a digital agency. If you are looking to advance your career quickly based on work ethic - Drive is a great place for you!

Some of the greatest people I’ve had the opportunity to work with
Community Manager (Former Employee) - St. Louis, MO - January 6, 2022
Laid back and chill atmosphere, everyone there was really nice and engaging, and I never felt bored there. During my short time there I learned a lot about the industry

Great product, totally lacking on management
Mid-Level Manager (Former Employee) - St. Louis, MO - September 23, 2021
Reiterating what’s been said. Management and structure is extremely poor. LOTS of favoritism. Favorites get work PILED on them because that’s the only ppl mgmt trusts. Words and actions are inconsistent. There is so much potential for this company to be great, but they need to get out of their own way. Stop doing things small companies do and plan for and do things that are scalable and growth focused.
Pros
Fun people. Great energy from co-workers.
Cons
Mgmt not trusting, no clear vision or plan to get there, poor communication from mgmt down, lots of misdirected changes

The Product is great but the org overall is lacking
Account Executive (Current Employee) - St. Louis - July 21, 2020
The paid media strategy we offer small business clients is so beneficial to them bringing in new customers and staying in front of repeat customers. However, as a start up the organization is severely lacking in structure and support. I am all for jobs that are trial by fire but the fire never ends and they leave you to get burned.
Pros
Helping small businesses
Cons
no advancement, bonuses based on client retention, lack of direction, boys club

Intern (Former Employee) - Nashville, TN - April 11, 2019
It was a great internship for me moving to Nashville during the summer. I had another internship at the same time so I would leave work around 2:30. The people working there were my favorite part, and it was in a great location.

Could be a fun place to work but very stressful
Business Developer (Current Employee) - St. Louis, MO - August 26, 2017
There are big pros and big cons to working here. The dynamic is young and fun. It is a startup company so with a creative environment but also comes with a lot of disorganization. A lot of policies are "tests" and everyone is treated differently. The creative staff is very different than the sales staff. Everyone is overloaded with more work than is possible which makes every position there very high stress.
Pros
flexible schedule, pay
Cons
stress, impossible work load
