Since you are working in several different stores, each will be different. Some store managers are easy going and have clean organized stores, some are nasty and completely disorganized. Some I didn't get along with well at first now realize my value to them (especially after I was off on medical leave for awhile) and we get along just fine now. It's up to you to figure out how to make your accounts happy, within company guidelines of course. As with any company, every Driveline supervisor is going to be different. Mine can be pretty brusque, but then he is also responsible for making sure 40 reps get their assignments done on time. I have been a supervisor (different companies) so I know the pressures, and I won't do that job again. Overall Driveline culture (personally I think that's a stupid concept) Get it done on time, Get it done right.

You will either get a DM that answers your questions or an irresponsible one. Mine answers questions and is only a text or call away. My biggest concern is the stores I am in. This can make your life happy or miserable depending on the culture of the store. One store I have is usually kept in order but the manager is a hateful woman who always nit picks about everything. Another store I have the manager is laid back but the store is always a disaster and they are always losing my planograms and shipments. I have yet to have a store where the manager is friendly and everything is kept in order. I guess that's too much to ask. Another concern would be the location you work. You might have senior citizens who are always up for a friendly chat or you might have a bunch of punks and druggies that come in to steal from the store or bum money from people. The bottom line is choose your stores carefully!

You do not want to work here! You are lied to constantly!!! You do not get paid for the time you work. You only get paid a preset amt. depending on the assignment they send you on! I liked the actual work assignments, but the low pay & All the lies suck!!!! Trust me, you do not wanna work for Driveline! 😕
