Treatment Support in Calistoga, CA

Favoritism rules in this company. The new employees are tasked with the most and the hardest work while the employees who are friends with management/supervisors do nothing all shift. When I brought up legitimate concerns, I was met with "Well it seems as though you are the problem." They also paid so poorly. $16 per hour and offered nothing more even if you had a BA.

This is not a good company to work for at all. You will be asked to do things that are way beyond your ability/knowledge and there is no clear cut policy for what you can or can’t do. The working hours aren't sustainable unless you have no life. The clients are abusive and manipulative and you have to sit there and take because higher up staff doesn’t have your back and will let the clients get away with pretty much anything. The benefits are expensive and you don’t get much PTO. Good luck taking a vacation!

I’ve never worked somewhere where I could be myself so much. The recovery and therapeutic culture is alive here. The work can be demanding and at times creative time management is needed to juggle tasks. Management cares and is generally open to feedback and staff needs. There’s also room to celebrate the diversity of styles and specializations each worker has to offer.

Management doesn’t care if you are busy they will pile on more incoming clients. Do not get paid the amount we should to work there. Took away free lunches to cut back on costs
Intake coordinator in Calistoga, CA

The Guest services job was fast paced and challenging. From the intake process to distributing guests medications, providing a watchful eye or a shoulder to cry on the work was rewarding.
