Very rewarding but can be very challenging

Working overnight was essentially a moderately challenging position. But most nights with no intakes were a breeze to get paper work done, cleaning, prepare breakfast essentials & much more. Time spent on paper work and intake paper work was not hard and could be done with relative ease. Duffy’s spirit lives on

Duffy’s is a rare find in that it cares that it’s counselors have a manageable workload so we can actually take care of the guests. Is it perfect, no, but co-workers and management cares and the guests are amazing.

Very sad what this facility has become.

Corporate greed has impacted the culture and mission of this facility. Overworked and underpaid employees make for high turnover. Upper management has a lot to learn about how to treat their employees. Incredibly sad that the Duffy's magic is no more.

Favoritism Rules

Favoritism rules in this company. The new employees are tasked with the most and the hardest work while the employees who are friends with management/supervisors do nothing all shift. When I brought up legitimate concerns, I was met with "Well it seems as though you are the problem." They also paid so poorly. $16 per hour and offered nothing more even if you had a BA.

Overworked and under appreciated

This is not a good company to work for at all. You will be asked to do things that are way beyond your ability/knowledge and there is no clear cut policy for what you can or can’t do. The working hours aren't sustainable unless you have no life. The clients are abusive and manipulative and you have to sit there and take because higher up staff doesn’t have your back and will let the clients get aw...
