Dunn-Edwards thrives in customer service and sales. They have the best paint and thrive in numbers against the competitions. You will definitely learn color!

Great Company, poor choices
Store Manager (Former Employee) –  El Mirage, AZNovember 14, 2018
The company itself has a clear vision however they do not empower the right people to make that vision a reality. They really need to take a look at their key players and make changes and focus more on their people and their customers.

Most coworkers were great to work with, management is a little iffy.
Professional Color Advisor (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZOctober 19, 2018
Loved my coworkers, management depends on the store you work for. Awesome benefits for full-time. Lots of training involved, there is bootcamp at the beginning and then we have monthly training too.

Electric Forklift Driver Picker (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZSeptember 25, 2018
Dunn Edwards is a fast paced workplace where you need to meet a 35,000 pound pulling requirement on daily bases. You get to learn how to drive an electric forklift and use an RF gun to scan products. Palletize paints and shrink wrap then label order to be shipped out.

SAP Basis Administrator (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA 90040September 16, 2018
My position and work environment was pressing, but it was good.
We had a great team on SAP support.

During the tragic backing crisis in 2008, people were not buying house paint. The company began making cuts. I was cut in January of 2009.
Pros
good working team
Cons
heatless, but suppose all corporations are, they are in for the money

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJuly 25, 2018
Ok place to work at except for the favoritism that occurs. DM's tend to pick who ever they want to promote and corporate is no big help when issuers arise. The compant has been through some changes that are not positive.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
favoritism

tinted paint, sold paint, stock sales floor, make deliveries. Was a fast paced positive/fun work environment, tinting in a timely manner and get all the contractors what they need in the morning. Best part of the job for me was deliveries.

An ok place to work
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJanuary 11, 2018
Pretty good place to work at. Had wonderful managers and assistant managers. Management above the store managers tended to be jerks, especially the Regional Manager. Company used to care ALOT about its employees but since the founder died, the company has become cold and corporate.
Pros
Competitive pay, ways to move up
Cons
Management above store managers don't care

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAJanuary 8, 2018
Of all the places I have worked, Dunn Edwards is probably the only place I'd be willing and/or interested in working at again. The training was functional, and as an employee it was very apparent that management was well organized and supportive of its team.
