Durgin Pines is a beautiful place to work it is unfortunate that is is poorly supplied and infrequently restocked. The pay was terrible with promises of increase that doesn’t happen. Management is ever rotating which leaves you unsure if you to report to in given situations.

Lots of amazing people that are willing to help and love their jobs. So far I have only noticed general staffing issues. Short staffed like everywhere but they are trying their best to make the best of it. They are offering great incentives to nursing and kitchen staff to fix the issue. Everyone pulls together to do what’s best for the residents.

Toxic work environment the focus on the reimbursement from Medicare and medicaid is more important than the actual well being of first staff and residents. During my time there I was told to "fill the beds, and admin will figure out the rest " then I was penalized for bringing in patients that were not able to "be figured out"

Durgin pines is like a book. It looks amazing on the outside, but on the inside it's so horrible. Management is not helpful at all and don't care when a resident is abused or disrespected. The only time they care, is when the state comes so they make everyone do everything perfectly so we don't get in trouble.

Durgin Pines provides a supportive work environment which is helpful to the individuals employed. The facility maintains a high level of care and prides themself on listening to the needs of staff. The administrative team takes personal time to listen to and address concerns of the staff, on both professional level and facility-wide level. Patients leave with high ratings of satisfaction and gratefulness toward those working at facility. With staffing shortages, each department is willing to pitch in to help other departments for the benefit of the residents and patients. Caring and supportive environment is the core of facility's trademark. In leaving each day, the staff feel a sense of belonging, importance, and support.
