Make your monitors an important part of your company. too often they are treated as second class employees. These are the employees that often take the beatings from unruly students. Yes, your drivers are important, but you should raise the pay of the monitors who have difficult students to match drivers pay.

They don’t care about seniority . They want the rookie drivers to take all the charter work cause the senior folks get paid more on their regular daily routes . They do not honor seniority for charter selection . I missed my kids high school sports cause a rookie was getting charters all the time . But if you fraternize with the office especially if a relative works in the office or training , you’re all set .

Change on how school district has authority to terminate an employee.Durham should Sep it up to the school district,and set some procedures in place.They let people go with no verbal warning.The school district has all the control over Durham employees....Sad

Get some order in the company. Let go all Management including the general manager and dispatchers. Get new buses. Build the company back up because it's not the workers it's management that's destroying this company.

A good management always builds a good friendship with their workers and try to make them stronger and stronger every day. When worker will have this kind of feeling like management are worry about their problems and truly honest with them, trust me they will at least think twice before leaving their jobs.
