Duh! No Power!
Senior Sales Engineer (Former Employee) –  Union City, CAApril 3, 2018
Disaster of a company. Should be a good target for a hostile takeover, then break it up for parts and close it down. It's beyond awful, only good thing is that its in Burlington and the food is good there, otherwise, industry would be better off without them.

Very family & employee focused company. Pets allowed at work. Many employee discounts & planned functions.
Field Service Technician (Former Employee) –  Home based officeSeptember 16, 2017
For in house employees it was a very employee friendly company. Community & charitable organisations were a strong focus with matching contributions & discounted employee tickets to local events. Company golf events & motorcylce rides. Many unique perks that aren't in the official job description.
My role was home based so most didn't apply to me. Field service manager was a bit of a dinosaur & the more old school technologically you are the better you'll fare under him.
Pros
Small company. You aren't just a number
Cons
No formal training provided. Thrown in & sink or swim

Field Service Engineer (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJanuary 5, 2017
A great company that pays well. Just don't screw up, because they'll toss you to the curb without blinking.

Work environment is one of safety orientation, cleanliness, and a zero tolerance for harassment.

A huge pro, is that the CEO regularly communicates with people on the floor.
Pros

politics, and never knowing who my real boss was.

Director of Sales, Aftermarket Services (Former Employee) –  S. Burlington, VTJune 25, 2015
Dynapower's sales managers lack experience, end of year forecasting is forced, and management layoff employees to cut costs but make up reasons that don't match.
Pros
Laid back admosphere
Cons
lack of experience in management and don't know how to accurately forecast sales.

Switch Mode Power Supply Assembler (Former Employee) –  Burlington, VTApril 17, 2012
Mandatory 49 hour work week soured any good side to company. 30 minute lunches and 10 minute breaks, when no real assembly line was running, shows management has real imagination problems. Company moved from Detroit, and is still managed as a 20th century auto company was managed. The company could potentially be five times its present size in just a few years, because their product is the right thing at the right time. I hope, for Vermont's sake, the management can pull their act together.
