Decent Company Overall
Consultant (Current Employee) –  Washington, DCSeptember 21, 2017
This is a quality company when compared to some of the other similarly sized federal consulting and contracting firms. When it comes to moving to different projects it may not be based on your experience. Some PMs are better than others and while some have non-experience related personal biases when picking people for their projects. The client you work with is who actually matters once you get in.
Pros
HQ Staff, Hr
Cons
Some PMs have biases

A productive place to gain great experience and they take care of the employees. The company regularly hosts a variety of events and has multiple programs that benefit the employee and the community.

Senior Administrative Services Manager (Current Employee) –  Washington, DCMarch 28, 2017
I like working for E3. The executive manager has been kind so far. The management below the C-Suite manages well, without micromanaging. There is a level of trust between the management and the employees, and that is appreciated.

At E3, I learned how a typical office job works and I got to learn many different aspects of the company. The people were patient and helped me learn what I could in the short time that I interned there.

Great Company
Analyst (Current Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 8, 2015
Small company big heart. Fast growing working out of the VA area. A typical work day working hand and hand with the government. The most enjoyable part of the job is I have a job.

Good Team Environment but only a Career Starter
Senior Associate (Former Employee) –  Washington DCOctober 27, 2013
Overall this company is run by a good management team but there is a lot of turnover largely because there is limited opportunity for career growth. If you are right out of school and looking to get started this may very well be the place to kick start your career but do note that this is not the place to stick around for the long haul as your salary and growth potential is capped.
Pros
Happy Hours and Team Oriented Environment
Cons
Lack of Career Growth

Typical beltway bandit
Senior Consulting Associate (Former Employee) –  Arlington, VAAugust 14, 2012
E3 Federal has some very professional people, but to be happy there you need to enjoy the game of federal consulting; i.e preying on the government's perceived dependence on contractors to get the job done. People at E3 talk a very good game, and the company will probably continue to grow.
Pros
high pay
Cons
management is very alert against those who don't conform
