R&D Engineer in Green Bay, WI

A strong progressive company with the ability to be one of the top OEM suppliers in the digital print industry. Co-workers were excellent people always willing to help out where they could in different situations. A very fast pace environment driven by sales delivery dates. In general a good place to be employed.

It's generally expected that you will be working overtime. Every week. Management is a joke, nobody really seems to have a solid grasp of what is going on. Managers don't care about employees beyond "do what I want you to, and do it faster". All projects feel rushed and sloppy. Machines frequently get sent out to customers without really being finished. High level employees are quitting the company left and right leaving voids of knowledge and skill. They WAY underpay their employees, FAR below industry standard. They haven't given performance reviews in about two years, and they JUST gave out some paltry (2% or less) raises for the first time since summer 2019 in a last ditch effort to stop people from leaving (didn't work). The only way to move up in the company is to suck up to the bosses, or to have been working for the company for 10-15 years. Company culture feels a bit hokey, but the heart is there. Work environment is stressful, and has given me anxiety.
Engineering Intern in Wisconsin, WI

A typical day always included some sort of data organization and/or documentation based on what my supervisors had told me to do. I learned many functions of Microsoft Excel including how to write macros using Visual Basic. It was a pretty laid back job. Deadlines were always easy to make and all my co-workers were very friendly. The hardest part of my job was to find out exactly what my supervisors wanted me to do. They were very vague and I had to ask a lot of questions to get an understanding of exactly what it was they wanted to have done. The most enjoyable part of my job was working with the other interns. We always ate lunch together and became friends outside of the workplace.
Desktop Support & Help Desk Specialist in Green Bay, WI

Company is small to mid-sized and struggling with economic issues, but always treated me as a valued team member and bestowed lots of additional responsibilities to me as a green IT person just getting started. I really enjoyed my time (3 years) with EMT International, Inc. and wish them continued success in the years to come.
Accounting Clerk in Hobart, WI

I enjoyed my job and work at EMT International, Inc. We were very organized and knew together (my boss and I), what needed to be done each day and by the end of each week and got it all done. Unfortunately business dropped and positions needed to be cut. I will miss working for the EMT family but am ready and willing to move on to another adventure.
