Everyday it gets worse. If you ask for a day off it gets denied, so you have to call in "sick". The latest letter posted is if you get caught with no lock on your trailer you get 3 days off, 5 days off for 2nd offense. So you work 6 days per week and do your job properly, you have no time off, but if you violate policy you do get time off. Make any sense to you? NOT!

If you like stupid, you'll love Eagle Express Lines! Just received another e-mail from the Safety Dept, no eating or drinking while driving. It's OK to smoke and talk on cell phone with a headset on, but not keep hydrated or your blood sugar up.Who comes up with these ideas?

Terrible company to work for. No loyalty or security in any department. Get everything in writing, text or email, because management will throw you under the bus to cover their mistakes.Even after 15 years, you are just a number to them.

If working at South Holland maintenance shop is like a family, I feel sorry for you. I get better treatment from total strangers. Who needs lies, deceit, and favoritism?

Same people making poor decisions year after year.It makes employees with active brain cells very frustrated, having to deal with such incompetence. It must cost a fortune to correct and cover up such poor judgement. Deficient management also results in low productivity, morale, and high employee turnover.

South Holland management is terrible! The maintenance department is run like a private club. No one from the outside is allowed in, and the managers never leave or get discharged no matter how poorly they perform. Don't ever make a suggestion or even make an observation, they don't want to hear it. Considering no one has mechanical or even truck driving experience, that's kind of pathetic, just shows how insecure they are. All of the other departments have been reorganized and have new people, why not the maintenance department.
