Great think tank with supportive management
Research Intern (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCApril 1, 2019
Management wanted the internship to be a learning experience for the interns, which was great. They were also very supportive of helping interns in their efforts to secure internship positions after the internship at East-West had expired.

The work environment was very collaborative and interns were allowed to research regions or issues that were the most interesting to them.
Pros
Supportive staff, collaborative environment

Great work but limited capacity
Summer Research Intern (Current Employee) –  Washington, DCAugust 5, 2015
The Washington office does a lot of interesting work on East Asia-US matters. However, it may be slow at times due to lack of work at all times. The office is very friendly and very cordial and the management is very engaging and friendly. Research-friendly.
