The SOC at ECU was so helpful with assistant positions. I had great mentors who helped me get good experience in communication. ECU graduate school really cares about their students.

Working as a Ga was fine. I never ran into any issues. All of the professors that I worked under (3) were nice and I learned something from each of them.

The pay isn't great but the managers and others in the office make a great environment. I think they could improve by being honest about job roles instead of stacking multiple positions worth of tasks on one person.

The professors there are amazing, it helps you realize and appreciate the various people there an how the contribute to their individual research or the school.

This is a good university to work at. They follow normal academic protocols. Expectations are quite reasonable. You often get input into your job requirements, subject to overall needs (of course). I didn't like the warmer, more humid climate but a lot of people would. Being an hour and a half to the beach is a draw for some. The town small and unsophisticated. But prices are lower. The school systems have problems.
