Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – West Covina, CA – July 30, 2018
Management created a very toxic environment, and a low morale. Its unfortunate that upper management does not even realize what type of managers they have to run such place. There were a lot of people that were very rude to patients just because they could not afford to pay for their visits.

I've been working for East Valley for over a year now and I'm very grateful for giving me the opportunity to grow as a person. I've learn so much from staff and management. Since day one i felt very welcoming. Its a fast paste environment, always busy due to high volume of patients.

East Valley Community Health Center is a great place to gain experience in working with patients from all walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds. The company cares about the patients in providing continuity of care.
Physician Assistant (Former Employee) – Pomona, CA – February 10, 2017
Worked there happily for many years until the change of medical director occurred. Bad management caused many good providers to leave. There was a decline in the quality of patient care. Also student loan repayment is hard to get due to the HPSA scoring.
Nurse Practitioner (Current Employee) – West Covina, CA – January 23, 2017
Excellent place for anyone who is starting medical career due to the exposure of many illnesses and diseases. On the other hand, very busy in a way that overwhelms everyone from employees to the patients. Hardly have time to take a break for lunch and there is always tons of work that require to follow up even if that means doing work at home. Schedules are always subject to change, with little to no consultation.
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – West Covina, CA – December 1, 2016
There is always something to do because it is always so busy. Never a dull moment. I learned a lot in the OB/GYN department and the best part about it was that there is a lot of teamwork involved. My co-workers always made it fun so the day went by fast. The hardest part about working here is that they were always changing managers and always changing schedules so it was a lot of getting use to and some confusion with the staff at times.
Working for Regal Entertainment helped me in taking my career a step further in accomplishing my goal

At East Valley, it is a judgement free zone. The staff is very concerned about your, or the clients, well being and they make sure you are taken care of. In the HIV Counseling and Testing department, everyone pulls together and reaches out to the community as best as they can.
long wait for the clients to see health care providers.
