This was a collections, I didn't enjoying harassing people everyday reminding them about a debt. this was extremely difficult because this was around the time of the divesting hurricane...hurricane Katrina. Most of the these families just lost everything and fell on hard times...collections just wasn't my thing.

Not worth it
Run. They are not understanding and pay is very low for what you do. Also bonus are horrible and not good for all your hard work. The structure was horrible the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Very unprofessional as far as business practices.wouldn't recommend the stress or unprofessionalism

Lots of Opportunity to Effect Change and Impact the Company's Growth
Work is typically varied and exciting. I have been given many opportunities to excel and learn on the job to better the company and my job. Management has given clear and lofty goals at times which may not be reachable which can be frustrating but is necessary for growth.
The hardest part can be prioritizing tasks meeting all of the deadlines set. Company roles can be combined making it challenging for folks who are wearing "multiple hats". I do enjoy meeting deadlines and goals. I can see direct impact from my actions which is rewarding for me.

Liked the Company Not the Industry
Enjoyed the people at the company, as well as the management. Really relaxed work environment. Pay was not good, but the work/life balance made it worth it. Just takes a certain kind of person to work in the debt collection industry.

Very interesting place to work. Work material not as hard as some may make it seem. Very fast-paced and displaying customer service is extremely important, though not stressed as much. Overall, this is a pretty decent place to work.
