1. They lie about the payrate in order to get you to work more hours. They will tell you they increased the pay from $5 an hour +tips to $10 +tips. But in reality they take a percentage of your tips to make up the $5 difference in hourly wages.
2. Those who have the ability to work long hours get priority on deliveries even if you are parked in front - more... of a restaurant with no deliveries they will have another driver do the delivery if work is slow. They keep some drivers on shift just in case they get busy. You can spend 3-5 hours on shift and not make one delivery.
