Local technical support for small businesses and households
Network Technician (Current Employee) – Coon Rapids, MN – October 20, 2014
A typical day included scheduling an onsite visit to troubleshoot issues such as internet connectivity, printer and email issues, hardware failures and replacement, upgrades to workstations/servers and contacting customer support such as HP or Dell when needed. I generally worked alone tracking any updates, changes or resolution and contacting the office before leaving the site. The hardest part of this job was familiarizing myself with new applications, every new stop has different applications. Many of these applications have their own tech support who would either generate a temporary security key to allow access to the applications settings or would remotely connect and had advanced knowledge of the app itself.
